there is this stuff called smart shade by almay and it is the best stuff ever its foundation and it has little particles that mach your skin tone and it has blush as well i have the light one and it works perfect and my friend @ my school has really darkskin and she triied it and it was perfect for her as well and i am a more paleer white and it is my perfect mach i love it to peices and i got it in september and i have it in MARCH still same one and i only receved one in sept. thats 5 months that Smart Shade by almay has mached my skin tone pefectly now all my friends have it and are using mine @ school!!
If you really need help, either choose a transparent foundation so your true color can show through. OR visit a dept. store make-up counter and ask for help. You don't have to buy on the spot, just get their advise and tell them you will think about it. You could try a few different stores and see if they all suggest the same advise. Also, you could ask when they will have any vendors (make-up reps) visiting to show their products to customers and return when the vendor is their.
Buy the color closest to what you think. Keep the reciept, if its not the color you like you can always return it.
